Dominika Czarnota-Szałkowska
Ms. Czarnota-Szałkowska joined the Polish Multiple Sclerosis Society in 2010 where she is responsible for external relations and advocating for Polish MS patients at the Ministry of Health, Parliament, National Health Fund, Ombudsman, Ministry of Family, Employment and Social Policy of Poland.
Dominika takes a particular interest in the subject of paediatric MS, and she has been actively engaged in lifting limitations on treatment reimbursement for children diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Furthermore, her objective is to benchmark international best practices to those in Poland, where an extensive number of MS patients are still facing numerous limitations on access for MS therapies, rehabilitation and social support.
In 2018 Dominika Czarnota-Szałkowska became member of the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform (EMSP) Executive Committee.
